In 1st of December, Zhao Bing , the professor of Nanjing Forestry University ,gave us a speech.First, let me introduce him .He is 40 years old.He is master of Math.He is working for Nanjing Forestry University. The speech’s title is "THE LANDSCAPE OF SUZHOU GARDEN" , he introduced the layout of the Suzhou Garden.
At the beginning, he present the "ZHUOZHENG GARDEN". Zhuozheng garden is the biggest garden in China. Zhuozheng garden’s feature is the western part of the garden is denser than eastern part of the garden. The area of the water occupy 1/3 of all the area of the whole garden. Water is the link and soul of the garden . The rockery , water, stones, ponds and pavilions are merged perfect. In summer, the Zhuozheng garden is a good place to appreciate the lotus. There are a lot of lotus here and many poets or scholars often visit from ancient times.The well-known poet Wang Xuanchen tried his best to publicize the lotus because he wanted everyone know his pure personality. There are many garden except Zhuozheng garden. they are also beautiful. The all kind of building are completed with nothing missing.Suzhou garden is different from Beijing garden .It seldom used colored drawing or pattern. The grey and white are operate in coordination.
He also said the we can use four sides to show the whole trait:
1)To be particular about layout of pavilions, trees ,wall and water . It never symmetrical.So Suzhou garden have more natural beauty.
2)To be particular about harmony with rockery and pond .The pond always have fresh water because just fresh water has joy of life.The bridges are never same,its reason is to have more natural beauty as well.
3）To be particular about harmony with flowers,trees and grass. Plants always grow up in four seasons.The trim skill of plants is natural.Plants aren't like the private to stand there, they are disorderly but beautiful.

In my opinion, Suzhou garden is painstaking care of the ancient people.Its achievement is very great.I live in city for a long time, It can relax my frame.But I have not visit there .If I have a chance,I will go there!
